CORA'S PEDIGREE
Amber Sky Jersey's Cora, 'Cora' is a sweet natured English type chocolate Labrador Retriever. She is an excellent example of our second generation of breeding at Amber Sky/Rumajas Labrador Retrievers. Cora has a nice square head, thick bone, a nice dark chocolate coat, and is extremely athletic. She is sired by our own Finn (Amber Sky Mudboat Finn) and whelped by Jersey (Jersey Buckey Corley). Cora is a littermate to our Carla (Amber Sky Jersey Carla). She has inherited the best traits from her both of her parents, from Finn her dark chocolate color, square head, and significant bone. From Jersey Cora inherited her athletic ability, her quickness, and retrieving drive.
Cora is a descendant from one of our two foundation bitches, Naomi (Cupid's Touch of Daylyn) a short stocky English type black Labrador Retriever. She is one of the first pups that we kept from breeding Finn and Jersey who have had several excellent litters together. Her pedigree combines excellent bench (show) championship lines with outstanding working field Labradors many with AFC (American Field Champion), MH (Master Hunter), or JH (Junior Hunter) titles. Cora was the biggest puppy out of a litter of 11 when they were whelped and she was still the biggest when it came time for her littermates to go home. We have great expectations for Cora as she is full of promise. Cora is already developing into a strong retriever at the age of 3 months and is starting to swim as well. She is quick in learning and takes after her mother in constantly circling back in front of you when you take her for a walk.
