SCOUT'S PEDIGREE

Amber Sky Crimson Scout, 'Scout' is a champion sired (American Kennel Club), well bred, black female Labrador Retriever. She has well defined "English" type characteristics, a large square head complimented by a soft kind expression on her face with dark amber eyes. Scout has a significant amount of bone and will continue to grow into her frame as she continues to mature. Scout has a nice mellow easy going temperament and is a very happy go lucky dog. She has a massive appearance and appears as a very strong and athletic Labrador, however she is right at home laying beside you sound asleep. Scout was from an exceptional litter in which we were trying to produce fox red females and males and instead produced a medium yellow male, her brother Sailor (Amber Sky Crimson Sailor) and five black pups. It was our hope and it has been confirmed that she carries the ability to produce what is considered the "Fox Red" variation of yellow, much like her dam, Rosie (Amber Sky Crimson Rosette) and her grand sire, Brick (Keepsake's Brickhouse). Scout was sired by Am. Ch. Boradors Smokehouse.

Scout has significant bone in her front and throughout her body. She has the appearance when you first see her of a male Labrador she is that muscular and stocky. She has a thick, dense, correct Labrador coat with a small amount of wave along her back. When she is not rolling in mud her coat is very shiny and has a high sheen. She is one of our favorites here due to her happy go lucky temperament, her striking appearance, and her potential to positively impact our program, especially her ability to positively impact our Fox Red Labradors.
