RIPLEY'S PEDIGREE
Crow Haven Ripley of Rumajas, Ripley was perhaps the finest chocolate Labrador that we bred.
She represent in looks and temperament what we consider to be the ideal lab. Ripley was a
massive Labrador and had incredible amount of bone for a female which was complimented by a
huge, square, 'English' type head. Despite her incredible size Ripley always had a soft kind
expression in her eyes and her face was usually wrinkled to some degree.
Ripley was one of the most docile Labradors that we bred and owned. Nothing ever excited her or
got her excited except for one thing, retrieving in the lake. She would come alive as soon as the
bumper, stick, or log was in the water. Ripley was either the first to the bumper or she would
swim over the dog that beat her to the bumper and forcibly take it from them. Once out of the
water it had to be her to return it to me and no one else. Ripley did not produce many puppies,
however the ones that she did were all beautiful and many of them inherited her type and
temperament. We have one of her daughters, Bailey who
resembles her mother in many ways however she is about 20 pounds lighter as Ripley tipped the scales
at about 105 pounds. Ripley was sired by our own Brodie and whelped
by our own Terra.
