Rumajas Amber Sky Crimson Pip, 'Pippy' is a sweet natured English type fox red Labrador Retriever.
Her coat is a dark fox red color which is a shade of the American Kennel Club recognized color
of yellow in Labrador Retrievers. Pebbles is an excellent example of our third generation of
breeding at Amber Sky/Rumajas Labrador Retrievers. She has a nice square head, thick bone,
a nice dark fox red coat, and is extremely athletic. Pippy was the great escape artist
from the time she was born. She was the smallest puppy in her litter however she could
do things that none of the other puppies could. She was clearing two feet walls at the
age of 8 weeks and was climbing three foot walls the next week. She is sired
by Am. Ch. Keepsake Cajun the only recognized fox red Labrador
to have obtained an American Kennel Club Show Champion title and whelped by
Lumpy (Rumajas Amber Sky Pride and Joy). Pippy has inherited
the best traits from her both of her parents, from Cajun her dark fox red color,
square head, and significant bone. From Lumpy Pippy inherited her athletic ability,
her quickness, retrieving drive, and her calm nature.
Pippy is a descendant from one of our two foundation bitches, Terra
(Rumajas Lady Terra) a stocky English type chocolate Labrador Retriever. Her fox red color
comes from her sire, Cajun, however her dam, Lumpy, and the yellows that were behind her
were all a very dark yellow. Pippy is a calm laid back dog and we expect great things from her.
