Rumajas Amber Sky Maya, Maya, is a sweet tempered physically striking black Labrador female that is an excellent representative
of our breeding program at Amber Sky Labradors. Maya is sired by our own Chuck (Rumajas Amber Sky Charlie Brown)
and whelped by our own Matilda (Rumajas Amber Sky Matilda), both of whom are great examples of thick, muscular
English type Labradors. The English type characteristics of Maya's parents definitely manifested themselves in her appearance and combined with her
sweet, loving temperament she makes for an ideal Labrador. Maya is a littermate to our own Mara (Rumajas Amber Sky Mara).
Maya has nice square, boxy English type head with a soft kind expression complimented by her eyes which are offset against her nice black coat. She has a
nice amount of bone in her straight front and nicely angulated chest. Maya has a nice straight topline and excellent tailset complimenting her strong athletic
build. Maya is a nice height and when she is at her prime weight she has a strong, muscular appearance. Maya is a physically striking Labrador, however it is her temperament
which really makes her such a nice, ideal Labrador. She is always very happy to see you and seems to not have a care in the world when she is in your company. Maya
understands completely her role to be of service to the ones that she is around simply by being happy to see them and spend time with them.
Maya is our fourth generation of breeding on her sire's side and our second generation of breeding on her dam's side. She is line bred on one of our foundation bitches,
Terra (Rumajas Lady Terra). The line from Mara to Terra would go through the following Labradors who we have all owned and bred on her sire's side:
Chuck (Rumajas Amber Sky Charlie Brown), Mara's sire, Star Rumajas Amber Sky Lone Star, Star, Mara's grand-sire who was our first
labrador to carry the Amber Sky kennel name,
Sasha (Rumajas Lady Sasha), Mara's great-grand-dam, and ending at Terra.
It is our hope that Mara's offspring like herself will be loving pleasant Labradors for their owners. We are proud to have bred Mara and produced a Labrador with such a wonderful
temperament.
