Jayla (Rumajas Amber Sky Jayla) is a great example of both temperament and type represented in our fourth generation of breeding at
Rumajas/Amber Sky Labradors. She is our fourth generation that we have bred and the fifth generation that we
have owned since we started raising Labradors in 1983 and kept our first puppy in 1994.
Jayla has a wonderful temperament and was one of our Labradors that was a participant in the P.A.T.T. program that I helped
co-found at Midpark High School with another teacher. Video coverage of this program was done by Education Reporter

She has a nice "English" type head and is lean and muscular through her body. Jayla is a nice dark shade of chocolate that
is complimented by her soft expression on her face highlighted with her amber eyes. She is extremely smart, picks up routines
and training quickly and has a great desire to please.
Jayla was sired by our own Finn (Amber Sky Mudboat Finn) and whleped by our own
Jessa (Rumajas Amber Sky Jessa)who is a well bred chocolate female Labrador Retriever.
Both Finn and Jessa are excellent examples of our breeding program and both have outstanding temperaments and pedigrees.
We bred Jessa's dam Jasmine (Rumajas Amber Sky Jasmine) and currently own her sire,
Bucky (Tendercare Bubbling Buckeye) both of them having excellent pedigrees and physically
sound with hips, elbows, and eyes all passing their respective examinations. Jessa has a distinct pedigree as it
combines the best of English bloodlines that produce chocolate Labradors through her grand-sire,
Fin. Ch. Bubbling Bedouine while the other strands of her pedigree combine some
of the best chocolate Labrador bloodlines and kennels in the United States and Canada. Behind Jessa are several
of our best chocolate Labradors in her grandfather Jake (Rumajas King Jake) and her great
grandmother Terra (Rumajas Lady Terra). Both of these dogs influence can be seen in Jessa
in her type and temperament.
Jayla is a sweet dog with and excellent temperament and is a friend to all that she meets. She has been stamping her
puppies with nice "English" type characteristics as well as a confident friendly temperament.
